10 Jul Regrets of a PhC

I have one regret, thus far in graduate school. I haven’t read enough.

I look back at all the “rewards” i gave myself – a few drinks one night, a movie another, surfing the web endlessly in search of just the right cute animal picture, the most bizarre news story, or random hate sites (don’t ask – it’s always been a strange obsession of mine to try to understand how and why people hate). And each one of those now looks back at me as a Book That I Didn’t Read.

A person could drive themselves mad thinking this way – especially in our profession.
